On July 1st, 2014, the Canadian government enacted tough new laws to combat unsolicited electronic communications (or "spam"). These laws will have an effect on how curling clubs and centres conduct their business. All clubs should ensure they are in compliance with these laws, as penalties for non-compliance are stiff.
