Building Description
The City View Curling Club is one and a half storeys.
Main Level: Lounge and Bar
Lower Level: Washrooms, Locker Rooms and Ice Surface.
Parking
There are two reserved spaces for accessible permit holders.
The parking lot and entryway are paved.
Main Entrance
Wheelchair users enter through the main door.
The lounge, restroom, change rooms and ice shed can all be accessed from the main door.
Doors can be opened with the automatic door operator.
Lounge
The building is only one floor.
There is a transition in flooring type betwen the main entry and the lounge. But there is no transition strip.
Washroom
Washrooms are wheelchair accessible.
They is no gender neutral washroom.
Locker Rooms
There is no gender neutral change room.
The door to the change room does not have an automatic door operator.
The layout of the locker room is accessible.
Ice Surface
From the lounge, wheelchair users will proceed past the stairs and enter through the ice shed door.
The door to the ice shed does not have an automatic door operator.
Accessible with a portable ramp.
The ramp is located just inside the Ice Shed door.

City View hosted the 2019 Provincial Wheelchair Championship.
City View will accomodate for league play, sparing, bonspiels and practice ice.
