RENTAL RULES The OVCA’s Street Curling units are a great, interactive way to market your event or curling club. Please use the unit responsibly and keep it in good condition so that all member clubs can benefit from this resource for many years to come. Keep it Clean - Keep It Dry - Keep Off Keep It Clean Use the provided stone retriever/mop to keep the surface clean. This will reduce the chance that the stones will pick up debris which may clog the bearings. A quick wipedown of the components before teardown to remove any surface dirt or contaminants will help extend the life of the unit. Keep It Dry The Street Curling unit can be used outdoors, BUT IT MUST BE KEPT DRY. Keep the surface AND the stones dry. Excess moisture, if not removed from the stones, may cause the bearings in the stones to rust, which will reduce/eliminate their mobility. Keep Off Punctures are always possible with our inflatable Street Curling unit. To reduce the likelihood of damage, keep the public away from the inflatable borders, and avoid stepping on the curling surface. Use the provided retriever/mop to gather the stones. Decontamination To help prevent the spread of illness and contagions, the rock handles can be safely wiped with a disinfectant wipe between users.
