We have set up with Bill Duck at the Ottawa Hunt Club to have our truck at the Hunt Club for the following times so that you can drop off any blades (scraper, nipper or handscraper) that you need/want sharpened for the start of the coming season.
Monday August 10th – drop off between 1-6pm
Tuesday August 11th – drop off between 9am – 12pm
Thank you to those who have already emailed me with their blade quantities.
If you are planning to drop off blades but have not emailed me to let me know how many, please try to send that ASAP as we will need to plan for the appropriate travel weight and we want to try and fit everyone in.
If anyone is starting up before September 1st 2020 can you let me know as well so we can plan around that.
The idea is that we will set up a “drive thru” type drop off to minimize contact and maintain social distancing.
Fred and myself are making this trip, so if you have stones you might want us to look at, bring one along and we can give it an assessment while we are there.
We encourage you to wear a face covering/mask during this process to keep everyone as safe as possible.
If anyone has any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact me. I will send out another email the week before with details on where at the Hunt Club we will be set up and will have a return date set up by that time.
I also want to extend a huge thank you to Bill and the Ottawa Hunt Club for working with us and allowing us to set up there.
Hope everyone is staying healthy!
